Wet Rooms & Mobility Showers: Transforming Accessible Bathroom Living
At Sima Care, we believe that everyone deserves a bathroom that offers safety, style, and independence.
For people with limited mobility, the right bathroom layout can make all the difference. That’s why we specialise in designing and installing Wet Rooms and Mobility Showers that are tailored to meet your individual needs.
What Is a Wet Room?
A wet room is a fully waterproofed bathroom with a level-access shower area, eliminating the need for steps or trays. It’s a sleek, open-plan design that’s ideal for wheelchair users, older adults, or anyone looking to future-proof their home.
Unlike traditional shower enclosures, wet rooms provide:
– Barrier-free access for ease and safety
– Slip-resistant flooring to reduce fall risks
– Stylish, open layouts that suit modern and traditional homes
– Easy cleaning and hygiene with fewer nooks and crannies
At Sima Care, we customise each wet room to suit your space, whether you live in a bungalow, flat, or family home.
What Are Mobility Showers?
Mobility showers are walk-in showers designed specifically for people with mobility challenges. These showers feature low or level access trays, fold-down seats, grab rails, thermostatic controls, and anti-slip flooring.
Our mobility shower solutions include:
– Walk-in shower enclosures with easy access
– Built-in safety features for peace of mind
– Optional shower seating for added comfort
– Custom finishes that match your home decor
We work closely with families, occupational therapists, and local councils to deliver mobility shower installations that improve everyday living without compromising on style.
